GMS Strikers Win Charity Soccer Tournament

Print Friendly

Go Strikers! GMS is proud of its soccer team for winning a “Play for your Cause” charity award this Spring 2015 season.

The GMS Strikers would like to donate our Indoor Soccer “Play for Your Cause” charity award to Grassroot Movement in Nepal (GMIN).

GMIN has been chosen for their heroic efforts helping the victims of the devastating earthquake in Nepal. The 7.9 magnitude earthquake on 25 April 2015 killed and wounded thousands of people, and left many more homeless. GMIN provided immediate relief programs for the victims during the aftermath of the earthquake and is currently helping the rural community to rebuild.

GMIN is a nonprofit organization which supports and initiates grassroot movements focused on bringing sustainable social and environmental change in Nepal.

As structural engineers, we hold public safety paramount and we are honored to assist GMIN.

Congratulations to everyone on the team!
