To promote the profession to the next generation, award outstanding engineering students and help New York retain promising young talent, each spring, the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York offers scholarship opportunities for third-year students in a four-year program or fourth-year students in a five-year program.
Since the program’s inception in 2002, the council has awarded over $400,000, collectively, to 148 high-achieving engineering students attending New York State colleges and universities. Scholarships are open to students in the following programs:
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology or Surveying.
